Scheduling & Time Off
Mobile bids workflow
We’ve implemented mobile support for schedule bids, allowing eligible staff to view and submit bids directly from the app. This makes it easier for frontline users to participate in bidding windows without needing desktop access, helping schedulers fill shifts more efficiently and transparently.
Admin time-off management on mobile
Administrators and managers can now add time off for staff via the mobile experience. This brings a key scheduling capability into the field, reducing delays when approving or entering time-off requests away from a desktop and helping keep schedules accurate in real time.
Page-out slot improvements
We’ve enhanced how paging out a slot works within mobile scheduling. This update helps schedulers more reliably notify staff when a slot becomes available or needs attention, improving responsiveness and reducing miscommunication around last‑minute changes.
Clone action in the mobile Slot Editor
The “Clone” quick action has been enabled in the mobile Slot Editor, aligning it with recent web updates. Schedulers can now clone existing slots from their phones, making it faster to replicate recurring or similar shifts without rebuilding details each time.
Faster calendar loading
We’ve optimized the mobile calendar so it loads and responds more quickly, especially in environments with many shifts or complex schedules. This reduces waiting time for both staff and admins and makes day‑to‑day schedule review and updates feel more responsive.
Mobile & Field Workflows
Correct time clock comment behavior
We’ve fixed an issue where some mobile time clocks were incorrectly asking employees to enter a comment when punching out only slightly late (within the configured 10‑minute window). The app now respects your organization’s configured thresholds, reducing unnecessary friction at punch-out and keeping comments focused on the cases that truly need explanation.
Improved rider shift request handling
We resolved an error that occurred when loading provider shift requests for riders. This fix ensures that riders and admins can work with provider shift requests without encountering unexpected failures, improving trust in rider scheduling workflows.
More reliable undo of rider availability shifts
We fixed an error that prevented some users from undoing a rider availability shift in specific scenarios. Undo actions in the rider portal now behave as expected, giving schedulers and riders more confidence when correcting mistakes or adjusting availability.
Inbox message viewing stability
We addressed a backend constraint related to message data types that caused errors when viewing certain messages (including replies) in the inbox. Messages now load consistently, so users can read and respond to communications from within the mobile app without encountering technical errors.
Training & Certifications
eLearning content now wraps correctly on mobile
We fixed an issue where eLearning text did not wrap properly and was cut off on smaller screens. Course content now reflows correctly within the mobile app, so learners can read full instructions and materials without horizontal scrolling or missing text, making mobile learning more practical and accessible.
Clickable certification links on mobile
We updated the certification experience so hyperlinks in certification Wiki content are now actionable on mobile. When a certification requires completion on a third‑party site, users can tap the link directly from the app to access their training, reducing confusion and the need to manually copy URLs between devices.
Security, privacy, and reliability
Improved Azure SAML login handling
We enhanced the mobile API’s handling of Azure SAML responses, including better use of available identity attributes when an email address is not provided in the expected field. This makes sign-in more robust for organizations using Azure SAML, reducing login failures and helping ensure that authorized users can access the app reliably once your Azure configuration includes the correct reply URLs.
Hardened authentication error handling
We corrected an authentication edge case that could generate an internal error during mobile auth checks. This improves the resilience of authentication flows and reduces the chance that users will encounter unclear or unexpected failures when the app validates their session.
Stability improvements across rider, inbox, and API operations
We resolved multiple low‑level API errors affecting rider workflows and inbox message viewing. These changes don’t alter user‑visible functionality but significantly improve stability, so actions like viewing messages, loading shift requests, and undoing availability are more dependable.
General performance and platform reliability
Under-the-hood adjustments to calendar performance and API error handling help keep the mobile platform responsive and ready for future enhancements. These updates reduce the likelihood of timeouts or slow‑loading views during high‑usage periods.
